Searching for a New RectorThe Process Continues ... and we need your views The Search Committee has been formed. The first Search Committee meeting was held on the 8th of March with the view to begin the process of putting together the Parish Profile. This document will form the basis of the information that will be advertised to potential applicants. Each person / group of people have taken responsibility for the various sections that will be included in the profile. The Search Committee is quite large but, it is believed, each member will bring something valuable to the table. Members are: Steve McAuley, Mikaela Hanley, Joe Sparling, Pat Jameson, Megan Crane, Christa McMillan, Amy Kellestine, Annie McKitrick, John Vandenbeld, John Hanley, Aaron Parker, Amanda McAuley. Cheryl Tyler and Israel Flesaker. A survey has been created so that anyone can express their opinion on a number of sections that are included in the profile. A link to complete this survey is below: https://forms.gle/ Flip charts with the same questions (and markers) will be in the Lower Hall during Coffee Time this week and next, if anyone wishes to add their views in this manner, and Simone is going to use the questions to get input from attendees at Kids’ Church as well. We look forward to hearing from as many parishioners as possible.

GATHERING AROUND THE KITCHEN TABLEA Zoom Event - Thursday afternoons 1.30pm - 2.45pm Good news! “Gathering” has resumed!! You are invited to gather together and enjoy these informal afternoons with friends as we explore and reflect on various aspects of our life of faith--and how this informs the choices we make as we encounter the important issues of today’s world. This fall we will using Bishop Mariann Budde’s book “How We Learn to Be Brave: Decisive Moments in Life and Faith” to focus our time together. I think Bishop Budde’s will lead us into some very interesting conversations. We will also include other topics of interest from time to time. Handouts will be send out early each week to help bring a focus to our conversation. So bring your coffee or tea or “whatever” and gather around our virtual kitchen table. If you have any questions or want more information, e-mail me at wildrosie7@gmail.com. Please feel free to invite a friend to join us via Zoom. I'm looking forward to seeing you all each week. Anne+
