Summer schedule begins; Summer VBS

St. Augustine's Anglican Church
St A's Newsletter for Sunday July 6, 2025
Summer Schedule begins

Summer Schedule begins

10am service only

Summer is our church Sabbath time.

The 8am services will resume in the autumn the Sunday after the Labor Day long weekend.

Regular kid's ministry takes a break (but see the VBS notifications below!)

As well, all our weekly groups, the Hanley home group, 'Round the kitchen table, and the Sharing circle are on pause as well.

Liturgically, we are in "the Season after Pentecost": it is the time of the Spirit.
Where are you seeing God around you?  If you are adventuring, what new capacities are the challenges opening up in you?  Who are you meeting and how is the Spirit renewing you in relationship?

READINGS THIS WEEK:

The 4th Sunday after Pentecost

2 Kings 5:1-14
Psalm 30
Galatians 6:7-16
Luke 10:1-11, 16-20

Office Notes

Please note that our Thursday office hours may be 'iffy' through the summer.  Please check ahead if you need to come in.  While phone messages will be checked weekly, email will be the most reliable communication through the summer.

Prayers...

We pray for our church administrator and treasurer Cheryl and her husband Paul as they mourn the loss of Paul's mother.

The Lord bless her and keep her and bring her into all rest.
