July 16 Borrowed and BlueBorrowed and Blue bring their unique tight vocal style to Fulton Place on July 16. This group is in love with music, especially with harmony singing. As the Housebound of the Blue Chair Cafe for almost 10 years, they've offered up tributes to Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Woodstock, The Beatles and most recently the music of The Trio—Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris. For this show they will be playing their own favourites that will likely touch on all the above. Their sets are filled with the great tunes that will have everyone singing along. Jamie Philp, guitars and vocals July 23 Meridian LineAn Edmonton-area musical trio with a unique sound and presence. Their primary raison d’être is to ‘twist’ familiar pop, folk, and rock songs from the last few decades into memorable interpretations. The band’s “boomer-folk” style is like no other and includes a few standard folk, country, and bluegrass tunes along with deformed-yet-delicious songs. |
