St. A’s parishioners – how have you discovered God in your life? What name for God do you love? Would you be so bold as to let us know so we can share your comments with the kids at our upcoming kid's camp? Wednesday Night Sharing CircleWednesday, August 4, 2021 Wednesday nights 8pm via the standard Zoom link Spirituality is a personal thing. Even if we ascribe to a common creed or practice, we each use different words to express our experience and we each come at faith and Spirit from a different personal history. On Wednesday nights at St. Augustine's we are learning to value the aboriginal/recovery sharing circle as a tool to help one another on our journey. Anyone may drop in at any time to this sharing circle. We sometimes follow a book, but design the evenings in such a way that someone can join in even if they have not done that reading. Please come on time if you can. We begin at 8pm and end as close to 9:30pm as we can. If you need the Zoom link or information on how to access this online circle, please contact us at the office.

DIOCESE ENCOURAGED TO SUPPORT LYTTON
Acting Diocesan Administrator, the Venerable Lee Bezanson, has sent a letter to all parishes in the Edmonton diocese, encouraging us to pray for the village of Lytton, BC, and to consider supporting the relief effort there if possible. He has shared links to a Canada Helps page set up by St. Paul's Cathedral in Kamloops, a way to offer support through PWRDF, and a prayer that can be used in our individual and corporate worship. Please see his attached letter. |
