Welcome to St. Augustine’s Newsletter
May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worms & spiderlings. Children who sense the rose needs the thorn & run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards sun... And when they're grown & someone has to speak for those who have no voice may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the ones. ~ Nicolette Sowder Art by Sharihan Abdulaziz |

How do you discover God? Let us know!
St. A’s parishioners – how have you discovered God in your life? What name for God do you love? Would you be so bold as to let us know so we can share your comments with the kids at our upcoming kid's camp? It would help us express many perspectives in the camp! **Also, everyone is welcome to join the Friday, August 20th celebration and movie. Hot dogs and camp songs start at 5pm. Movie at 6pm. |
Wednesday Night Sharing CircleWednesday, July 28, 2021 Wednesday nights 8pm via the standard Zoom link Spirituality is a personal thing. Even if we ascribe to a common creed or practice, we each use different words to express our experience and we each come at faith and Spirit from a different personal history. On Wednesday nights at St. Augustine's we are learning to value the aboriginal/recovery sharing circle as a tool to help one another on our journey. Anyone may drop in at any time to this sharing circle. We sometimes follow a book, but design the evenings in such a way that someone can join in even if they have not done that reading. Please come on time if you can. We begin at 8pm and end as close to 9:30pm as we can.
