National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21, is celebrated in the Anglican Church of Canada with the National Indigenous Day of Prayer. Throughout the month of June, the Social Justice Committee of the Diocese invites you or a to consider more deeply Indigenous Justice and the Church.

One significant way to do this is by reflecting — by yourself or together in a group — on the best-selling book 21 Things You May Not Know About the Indian Act, by Bob Joseph. To help you more efficiently do this, members of "Our Common Ground" offer 21 reflections on each of the difficult injustices raised by the book and questions about how we can live together more justly on this land together.
