Baptism of the Lord Sunday – Jan 8, 2016
A note from Rev. Jonathan: You will see starting next week that we will move to a pattern of Lectio Divina (divine reading) on Sunday mornings in Epiphany. I would like us to explore in this way how we might form a more communal engagement with the scriptures. Some Sundays will carry a more traditional sermon, but the reduced readings will allow more flexibility from time to time. It will make sense that more explanation occur week by week. The season of Epiphany is a great time to do this work as the readings dwell in Jesus’ teaching. Let us hear the message in his own words. J+
