Celebration Lunch This Sunday!

You are invited to a Celebration Lunch on Sunday November 24th

Following the 10:00 am service.  (About 11:30 am)

What are we celebrating?

1) Reign of Christ Sunday.  The last Sunday in the Church Year.   v  Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. 1 Peter 4:10.

2) New Year’s Eve. (Church Style) Next Sunday, December 1, is Advent Sunday, the Church’s New Year’s Day, and the start of a whole new year.   v  In our Biblical Stewardship 365 Programme, we are celebrating

3) God’s Gift of our Parish Community, a gift that strengthens and inspires us, and enables us to be good stewards, and so should be celebrated.

4) St. A’s Financial Stewardship Sunday, when we make sure that our parish has the resources it needs to do its work of preparing and supporting you to be good stewards, helping to build God’s Kingdom of peace and justice on earth.

5) It’s Grey Cup Sunday too, so there might be other causes for celebration!    But, if there’s no miracle, at least we can commiserate with each other!  And there will be cake. Note. Kick Off for the Grey Cup will be at 4:00 pm. MST.  Our lunch will end long before that.  You might even have time to drive to Calgary if you so desire and if you eat quickly!
