Easter Vigil Tonight! 8-10pm

17c bulgarian Resurrection

For a life of compassion.

In the resurrection of Jesus Christ we see the power of God to transform darkness into light and sorrow into joy. Stunningly, we are invited to share the work of God in our places and communities – it is baptism that ‘ordains’ us to this work and reminds us of the promises of God.

The Great Vigil of Easter is one of the most ancient patterns of prayer in the Church.

St. Augustines is host to this service this year and you are invited to join us in this the first celebration of Easter. Using elements of fire, food, water, and word, join us as we experience the news of the resurrection and God’s call in our midst.
Rejoice then, even in your distress
Christ is Risen! Death is overcome.
