TAX RECEIPTS FOR 2018 – Donations must be received in the Church Office or on the collection plate — BY SUNDAY, DECEMBER 30TH.
BISSELL CENTRE – SUNDAY, JANUARY 20TH at the church at 10:00 am Please mark your calendar for – Saturday, January 19th – We hope to have a work party available to make sandwiches. We will be working with Stratheran United Church. The items noted below is approx. 50% of amount required:
- 10 loaves egg sandwiches – celery but NO ONIONS
- 10 loaves tuna or salmon – NO ONIONS
- 20 loaves meat with cheese
- 200 pieces of dessert – 100 pieces fresh fruit – whole/cut
- 150 pieces of veggies – pickles 1 large sweet & 2 dill
- 1 tin coffee/ 2 lbs – 1 tin creamer 1.4 kg
- 1 pkg sugar 2 kg – 1 tin juice crystals 2.3 kg
- 100 juice packs or 100 small water bottes
- Serviettes – 1 pkg/250 – lots of clean plastic bags
- Plastic gloves – medium & large
- FROM CHURCH – 10 tea towels & 5 dish cloths
- A sign-up sheet will be available in January
- Donations of any of the food items would be app0reciated,
- Especially the hard-boiled eggs.
- Help to purchase & pick up the remaining food items would also be appreciated.

Reminder to book any space you need at the church through the church office, so it can be checked against the master calendar.
The church office is open Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 and Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 2:00. Any mail for the office? Please drop it in the office mailbox (in the other building), or in the ‘Admin’ mailbox downstairs. There is also a form for cheque requisitions if you have receipts to submit for payment.

GANG – Grandmothers of Alberta for a New Generation (GANG) works with the Stephen Lewis Foundation to support African grandmothers raising their grandchildren because of AIDS. An awareness, advocacy and fundraising group.
Education for Ministry – Thursday nights – a four- year certificate in theology.
GEA-Greater Edmonton Alliance – organization of Faith Groups, Unions, Community Action Groups and Small Businesses ‘organizing for the common good’ to give the public a voice in decision making that affects their lives.
