Call out from the Bissell Center ahead of the heatwave

With temperatures rising and holding for the next two weeks, YEG’s houseless population needs the community’s help.

High temperatures cause increased risk for heat exhaustion, dehydration, heat stroke, and overdose (due to dehydration).

We are in desperate need of bottled water. We are also accepting donations of hats, sunscreen, and men’s hot weather clothing (sizes M-XL).
